How are tutors vetted?
Every tutor is personally interviewed by Kirsty, DBS-checked, and confirmed as qualified and experienced enough to deliver the lessons, learning goals or curriculum required.
How does matching work?
An initial consultation gauges the student's needs, then Kirsty matches the best-fit tutor for a free trial lesson — so you can be confident in the teaching style and personality before moving forward.
What ages and subjects do you cover?
Anybody with a want or need to learn — our students have ranged from age 4 to 86. Subjects span Maths, English, Sciences, languages, exam preparation (SATs, GCSE, A-Level, IELTS) and English as a foreign language.
Are lessons online or in person?
All lessons are carried out online, which means Kirsty's Tuition is genuinely open to anybody, anywhere.
Is the first lesson really free?
Yes. Every new student is onboarded with a free initial lesson so they can get to know their tutor before committing to ongoing sessions.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes — we offer sibling discounts, block-booking discounts, and a referral and recommend scheme, so families get the best value for their spend.
Can I have more than one type of lesson?
Most students benefit from a range of lesson styles — one-to-one, small groups, or full courses — so their learning journey stays well provisioned.
